First off, a shout-out to Mikey, whose Timber Palace blog is back in business… If you’re into architecture (or you live in the Pacific Northwest), you should take a peek…

Nike and Roger Federer are at it again, starting slow in 2009 before slamming us with his day/night outfits for the Australian Open.
More pics: See what he wore in Doha, Kooyong, and for practice sessions and pressers — all after the cut…
Since everyone is going green these days, we’re not surprised that they chose to repurpose Roger’s Aussie Open ’08 outfit for Shanghai/pre-Aussie, turning the polo’s placket turquoise and extending it all the way to the hem. I’m not a fan of this covered-placket trend, though. (He wore a white/black version before this one, for play at the Paris and Madrid Masters…)
Federer didn’t do so well in Doha, going down to Andy Murray 7-6 (6), 2-6, 2-6 in the semis.
Roger teases out the blue from his polo with the help of his purple Eugene Track Jacket. This is a pic of him hoisting the Kooyong trophy, which he won on Saturday by beating fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka 6-1, 6-3 in 57 minutes. (Buy: You can get one in a different color — black, white, or navy — for $85 at nike.com.)
And during the pre-exo presser in Kooyong, Roger wore this pixelated Nike logo tee.
Not to be outdone by Serena‘s bling, Roger donned this gold swoosh tee in Doha. (You can get a similar white/gold swoosh tee for $14.99.)

In Melbourne, a ho-hum Nike Sportswear tee.
