At this week’s Open Gaz de France, Hungarian sensation Agnes Szavay took out second seed Daniela Hantuchova 7-6 (4), 6-1 in the quarterfinals. These losses must not be doing well for Dani’s psyche.
But at least she’s lookin’ good on the court. Her Nike Cruise Bloom Dress show off the Portland-based sports giant’s spring tennis colors — New Blue and Blue Ice. New Blue is a darker blue (like the Argon from previous seasons), and Blue Ice is what she’s wearing in that dress above.
Dani also wore the Cruise Net Knit Jacket, with its asymmetrical front zipper, wide cuffs, exaggerated collar, and floral print hoodie. (Get a closer look here.) They need to make a men’s version — I’d totally be all over it.
What do you think of the jacket? Tell us!
Our picks: Cruise Net Knit Jacket, $75.00; Bloom Dress, $80; and Fauna Skort, $60; all available through Tennis Warehouse. Browse the rest of the Nike Spring 2008 Cruise line, including versions of Sharapova‘s Fauna Tank and Serena‘s Bloom Tunic, here.
Flashback: Not to be outdone by her fellow SEWTAers showing off in designer goods (Jelena in her Louboutins, and Sharapova with her neverending list of favorites), Hantuchova dropped by the Versace store at Crown in Melbourne during last month’s Australian Open. My love for animals be damned, the fur hem on that coat looks pretty darn cute. See the rest of the photos from that shopping trip.
